Terms and Conditions

  1. All reservations, amendments & cancellations will only be accepted in writing, via email or text. Quotes will be provided on request for any services not specified.
  2. Cancellation Policy: If a confirmed reservation is cancelled, cancellation fees (as a % of the full amount) will be levied as follows: (Please also refer to WET WEATHER Clause below)
    • Cancellation more than 7 days prior to commencement of tour 100% refund
    • Cancellation between 7 days and 1 day prior to tour 75% refund
    • Cancellation on date of reservation and prior to pick up for tour 50% refund
  3. If a passenger(s) fails to join the tour, or joins it after departure, or leaves it prior to completion, no refund, pro-rata’d or otherwise, will be given. While On The Side Tours will make every endeavour to follow the agreed itinerary on the day, it is understood that re-routing may become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. (e.g.: road closures, traffic congestion, unsafe conditions, etc)
  4. Payment Policy: payment in full is required to secure a booking unless otherwise agreed in writing with On the Side Tours.
  5. Under no circumstance will On the Side Tours transport any passengers unless an indemnity waiver form has been completed and signed by all passengers prior to departure.
  6. The tour fee quoted covers fuel for up to 200 km’s, insurances, use of biking gear (helmets, goggles) + plus 1 complimentary bandana/buff per passenger.
  7. RAIN POLICY: If there is a possibility of rain on the day of the tour, clients can decide by 6 pm the day before the tour, to either:
    • Elect to take the planned tour with wet-weather gear provided by On the Side Tours. (If this option is taken, a refund of 35 percent of the tour will be provided.)
    • Elect to accept a full refund if booking cannot be rescheduled.
  8. After the tour has started On the Side Tours will have no financial obligation towards the client should it start to rain. However neither On the Side Tours or the client has the ability to control the weather and as per On the Side Tours Mission Statement ( If you are happy then we are happy too ).  On the Side Tours is fully aware that not every eventuality can be planned for and with the above as a guideline we can work together to ensure that you are happy.
